Cohorts of Compassion

Redefine what it means to be an Indian Educator.

Teachers don't just leave an academic impact on their students but play also central roles in their developmental journey.
👉🏽
A guiding question at CoC is: Educators look after their students, but who looks after the educator?
Cohorts of Compassion strives to be the answer to that question. That’s why we are building India’s first community for educators.

Be a part of a space that is designed to be everything an educator needs to not only be successful in their professional journeys but also find inspiration, support, and connection to their peers. We believe a community like this will ease the burden that our educators face on a daily basis, as well as break the boundaries of school, board, city, etc. to foster innovation on a larger scale and transform our bureaucratic learning environments into those designed around the teacher-student relationship.

Students learn a lot more than just academic skills from their educators.

They also learn how to care for themselves and navigate the ever-growing and the increasingly complex world they’re growing into. That’s why their educators can take care of themselves professionally AND personally.

Who We Are

Cohorts of Compassion is a project launched by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Hub of the Global Shapers Community.
Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. In each city, teams of Shapers self-organize to develop and launch projects that address the needs of their community. Projects are wide-ranging — from responding to disasters and combating poverty, to fighting climate change and building inclusive communities. Shapers are diverse in expertise, education, income, and race, but are united by their desire to bring about change.
